Brass and the City features Melbourne-based collective Lyrebird Brass. Faculty of the Melbourne University and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Lyrebird Brass will perform a fascinating program from Baroque to modern day. Commencing with flemish composer Leonora Duarte and her Sinfonia No. 2 (arranged by Abby Black), Victor Ewald’s Quintet No. 1, living British composer Grace Evangeline Mason and Australians Catherine Likhuta and Alice Humphries. The program finishes with Andrew Batterham’s Melbourne Mosaic. Orange Chamber Music Festival is a four day boutique event, praised for its sophisticated appeal and excellence in programming. It combines the very best of the Region's hospitality with incomparable musical experiences, with chamber music at its core.
