In his 150th anniversary year, The Carice Singers (conducted by George Parris) and harpist Olivia Jageurs present an evening of Holst’s masterly choral music as part of the Lichfield Summer Festival.

including The Evening Watch and the Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda, and in tribute to Holst’s lifelong commitment to new music, they interweave it with recent works inspired by the same sense of the limitless, including works by Electra Perivolaris, Grace-Evangeline Mason and Urmas Sisask.
