Equilibrium, composed of musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, have a mission to introduce works by hitherto neglected female composers, alongside exciting new works from female artists creating music today. On International Women’s Day, Equilibrium brings you a programme of music by women past and present, historically neglected but currently celebrated including Amy Beach, Elizabeth Maconchy amongst others, as well as Grace-Evangeline Mason’s much performed ‘Into The Abyss, I Throw Roses’ for string trio.
