As part of the Wilfred Owen Commemoration Festival 2018 to celebrate the centenary of the First World War, this event features an evening of music and poetry remembering the life and work of Wilfred Owen and his comrades from Birkenhead, including The Wilfred Owen Choir, settings of Wilfred Owen poems, performances by Christ Church Organist Paul Broadhurst, readings by Rt Hon Frank Field MP, Dame Patricia Routledge, and Mark Evans, and performances by Members of The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Youth Company including the premiere of Grace-Evangeline Mason's piece 'As Bronze' inspired by the Wilfred Owen poem, 'As Bronze May Be Much Beautified'.
