The theme of the sermons at Evensong on Sundays in Lent Term is based around Songs of the Bible.

Singing, and in particular singing praise to God, is central to the life of faith. Unsurprisingly the Bible is full of songs that different people sing in different circumstances and for different reasons. In the Psalms we have a whole book of such songs. This sermon, A Song of Christ’s Glory, is accompanied by the world premiere of a piece that has been specially commissioned from Grace-Evangeline Mason to go with these songs.
